Carly did AWESOME at her first swimming lesson today! She was so scared at first. She kept telling me she was scared and she began crying and clinging onto me. The instructor was a doll. They started with swim position ring around the rosie. It was so cute. Carly actually floated and they had really cool kites and things hanging from the ceiling so that helped keep it interesting. Carly would say,"Hi Octopus, Hi froggie..." it totally made her forget that she was floating. The COOLEST thing was at the end when the kids had to walk/balance across this giant board and then jump into the water to us. It was the cutest thing I've ever seen. Carly was totally freaked out the first time she did it, but the second time she seemed to like it. Carly did so well she received a certificate of completion and moved from Tadpole to Guppy! We're SOOOO proud of her! She ended up having a total blast.
