FEVER :(

Carly woke up with a 100.4 degree temperature Friday at 5am and took her to the doctor and they said she probably has a little virus. The next morning she woke up with a 102.8 temperature and we gave her ibpropen and it knocked her fever long enough for her to be in the big fundraiser fashion show that we do annually. (The show must go on...) She had a blast. Really enjoyed herself...although we knew we were pushing it. I apologized in advance to all the parents of the other children and let them know that Carly had a fever. They were completely understanding and didn't stress out about her being contagious, like I would have. One dad told me his 3-year-old daughter who was in the same scene with Carly had a fever the day before... So, something was going around since school just started. Anyway, Carly had so much fun. It was tough waiting for our turn to go on stage, because Carly wanted to run up and down the stage on every scene. She had two scenes. One with me and one with a teenage girl she didn't really know. I was a little worried she'd be nervous going with the girl, but she was SUPER happy. My nephew Tyson was also in the show and Carly LOVES spending time with him.
We rushed out of there as soon as the show was over and Carly passed out in the carseat at 3:15. She was so tired. I felt bad for her. This morning she woke up at 5am with 102.8 and it keeps coming back. I wonder if she has an infection at this point? Her nose is completely stuffed and running now too. I will take her to the doctor again tomorrow just to be on the safe side. I hate missing work. Specially this early in the year, but what can you do?
