New Rental

We started packing our home up and Tina took a truck load over to the rental. Tina I just want to move forward and try to get settled. The new place smelled really dusty or moldy. Kind of creeps you out when you aren't sure what you are breathing. Tina's getting the carpet sterilized with this $500 professional cleaning. I went to throw a tissue in the toilet and flush it and realized the chain wasn't hooked on and it didn't flush. So I attached the chain and proceeded to flush the toilet and water started leaking all over the floor, which is carpet by the way! Who puts carpet in a bathroom? Tina helped me turn off the water quickly. I went to investigate the other toilets and discovered a gross moldy seat in the master bathroom. Then we tried the heater and that never came on. We had all week to make sure everything was working okay...and today was our last day. We forgot to check to see if all the water faucets work too. Hopefully, the landlord will fix all that stuff before we move in. Granted, its a nice place. It just needs some work. Its obviously been a rental quite some time. We feel blessed having a place to go with our dogs in the area we love. It will just take some time to make it a home.

We hope to be fully move in the next two weeks.
