8 days past trigger shot

I did a First Response test this morning and it detected the trigger shot. There is a faint line. If there is still a line tomorrow and the next day then that will mean we are pregnant. Although, my boobs don't feel very sore which kind of concerns me. I think they should be sore. So, we'll see!

Here's a great video of Carly swimming with Grandma. She is a pool champ! :)

***I just read from my blog that I tested positive 12 days after the hcg trigger shot (intramuscular) and it was a false positive, because I started my period later that day. That shot made me so nauseous. I've read online that people who took ovidrel said it should be out of your system in 10 days. I wonder if ovidrel which is a subcutaneous shot isn't as potent as the intramuscular hcg shot. (I waited until 13 days after to test when I found out that I was pregnant with Carly.)

I never got a false positive after my trigger shots. Weird.
I am going to stay positive that this is the one :)

So how long do you think it took for your body to metabolize the shot so it wasn't detected in your body?
