27 Weeks!

Here's my 26 weeks pic with my 27 week pic. Our doctor told us Wednesday that Carly is measuring two weeks bigger than normal. Baby.center.com says babies at 27 weeks should weigh almost two pounds and 29 week babies should weight about 2 and a half pounds. It sounds like Carly is a half pound bigger than she's supposed to be, which changed her due date to April 10th on the ultrasound machine. We couldn't really make our her facial features or anything in the ultrasound, because my doctor has such an old machine, but we did see that her eyes were open!!!
My mom and I met for lunch yesterday and then made a trip to Babys.rus and she bought us the Gr.aco Snug.ride 32 infant car seat that Tina's best friend recommended! Its so cute! My mom also bought us the light little snap in stroller to go with it. I think we might need another seat base, but I'd rather wait and see how it fits in the Mini and I also wasn't sure if Tina wanted to have a base in the Sci.on because she takes clients around looking for homes a lot in that car. My mom was wondering if she needed a base for her car too, but I figured we could buy more bases later if we need them. They aren't too expensive, $44 and it will fit Carly up to 32 lbs. I thought it might be just as easy to switch cars with my mom if she was going to babysit.



My mom also bought Carly a baby/toddler mattress! Most of the mattresses were recalled in California due to some fiber in the mattress that could be hazardous so, we didn't have the greatest selection to choose from, but the guy said that it should be a nice mattress as long as we get more than 200 coil count or something like that, so we got the only one over 200. All the cradle mattresses were recalled too, but they said they should start getting those in by next week. My sister gave us her son's cradle, so we want to just freshen it up with new bedding and mattress since its been in storage for seven years. We're still waiting for the arrival of our crib. We ordered it right after Christmas and we waited three weeks for the shipment and apparently it didn't come with that shipment after all....so they think it MIGHT come in on the next shipment which is the beginning of February or second week. We're like..HELLO!!!! Good thing we ordered it so early.

Some really good news, I was told I might qualified for a much higher home loan than I thought! Although, there is some A.MEX credit card on my credit report that's a payment of $88 a month that is not mine. My credit loan amount will go way down if I don't get that taken off. The credit card was opened in 2002 when I had no credit cards and I was going to school, so either someone has my same name or someone has stolen my identity. Scary. I'm going to call first thing Monday morning. What a pain!

Tina had the worst technology day yesterday. We've known that we needed a new fax machine because it always gets jammed and isn't time efficient, especially when Tina is trying to send multiple 30 page offers. It gets incredibly frustrating. Yesterday I took her computer in to get fixed because it seems she's gotten a virus. We thought she was going to lose all her important files, but it turns out the guy thinks he's going to be able save them. THANK GOD! I brought home my work computer for her to use in the meantime, which needed tons of updates... and then to top it off, she broke her printer!!! Paper got jammed in it and she used tweezers to pull out the paper which accidentally pulled out some sponge thing that helps scroll the paper. Poor thing. She had an awful day...so, after my shopping spree with my mom I went to Cost.co and picked Tina up an all in one super duper fax, scanner, printer. You can pile a whole stack of papers to fax and it sucks them up and faxes all of them, and the printer is AWESOME it shoots the paper out in seconds! It's HEAVENLY! She's so grateful. We were trying to not spend any money, but I'm afraid not spending money was COSTING her money in the end...and most importantly, it was costing her her sanity. I can't wait for her to get her computer back! The guy is also going to switch it from Vista to XP!!! I'm more excited about that then she is. Vista is SO BAD!

I've been very focused on trying to eat healthier and eat less. I've stopped having the evening bowl of cereal before I go to bed at night and I've tried to cut down the carbs and eat more protein. Its seems to be helping, because I've actually lost three pounds. I was 185 two weeks ago and now I weigh 182 and Carly's growing strong! I'm really hoping that I'm going to be able to get a handle on this massive weight gain. I have gained a total of 37 pounds and I still have 13 weeks to go. Babycente.r says most woman gain 11 pounds in the third trimester which is still two weeks away.

I guess I better get my day started. This is the WORLDS longest post! :)
