We DID it! My clothes were laid out and the coffee was on automatic and Spencer and I got up at 5am and ran around the block two times. It took twenty minutes and I mapped my run and found out that its .62 miles a lap. So, I did 1.24 miles! Tomorrow I want to do three laps and the next day four! My dream is to be able to run five miles everyday, because everyone I know who does that has this amazing glow about them and they just look strong and fit! I felt great all day! Tina did it too, right after me! We were so lucky that Carly didn't wake up. That usually happens when we try to plan things, but if that was the case...we could have put her in the jogger and taken her with us. Tina and I do great when we hold each other accountable. I'm so proud of us! It was a little scary being outside in the dark. I wonder about coyotes. I was glad to have Spencer by my side. Poor guy is cooped up too much in our little condo. Not anymore! We're going to be running partners again. Before Carly was born, we would run far together.
Carly did great at daycare today with her potty training. She was so proud to show everyone what a big kid she is. They put a pull up on her over her panties during nap just in case and she was dry when she woke up. :) I'm SO over diapers! I'm SO happy that she doesn't want them anymore. They've got to be uncomfortable and gross feeling after a while.
Tina finally made it to her woman's annual appointment today after two months of rescheduling and canceling her appointments. Our doctor is such a doll. We love her. She helped us do IUI to get pregnant and she was the one who delivered Carly. Anyway, while she was giving Tina her pap today she said, "Tina, I don't want to ask this, but I have to...Have you ever had intercourse with a man?" Tina said, "Like three life times ago." Our doctor said that her cervix looked raw and they are going test her for HPV. I asked Tina if it could be a little yeast infection from taking the zpack, but she didn't think so because she doesn't feel any symptoms. I just think its weird that this would be the first time they would discover HPV in all the many paps she's had over the years and the last six years Dr. T has been our doctor. Dr T told Tina that it can lay dormant for years. Strange...Now, Tina's googling and googling. Hopefully its just a false alarm.
Sad news, our good friend accidentally ran over her beloved old dog with her car. His name was Tank. He was a doll. He would lay around in the garage and out in the driveway. Needless to say, she's completely devastated.
