I packed up the room today. Erica is covering for me tomorrow. Today was such a long day. I can't believe I'm free of that place. The kids were so cute, but the days were far too long and it was WAY too hot. With all the exciting stuff going on in my life lately, it was very difficult focusing on Cartooning.

Don't Panic!
I called the Pharmacy and our IVF Coordinator and she told me that I had nothing to worry about. The hcg shots are administered both ways. FREAK ME OUT! I can't believe the egg retrieval is tomorrow. I'm soooo excited and nervous. I hope she gets some good ones. I'm supposed to go in for a physical right away for my new job and that was another panic for me, because i'm all shot up with all these fertility drugs. My estrogen levels are sky high, my ovaries are the size of grapefruits. Luckily, they couldn't get me in on Monday and I told them that I would be out of town(during my bed rest), so I'm going to do it 10:15 on Monday, August 11th. I guess it's a urine test so they can test for illegal drugs and they also want a blood pressure test. The great news is the hcg shot should be out of my system so I should actually be almost normal. That morning will be six days after the embryo transfer and I think I'll be able to get a slight positive pregnancy reading. The nurse told me to wait the following week when they do the blood test..YEAH RIGHT! They don't want us to get discouraged and stop taking the progesterone shots.
