I'm BETTER!

My headache did it's normal three days of pounding...then it stopped! Yesterday, I had a wonderful appetite too, so I asked Tina to take me to one of our favorite italian restaurants and I devoured the bread and pasta that i ordered! It was so much fun! It's nice not being nauseous! Today, I've been a little nauseous..i usually am every other day.
Anyway, i had a really nice day today. i really enjoyed teaching my classes. Most of the kids are so passionate and excited about graphic/web design and art. It's really rewarding! Then another cool thing happened today, I got this letter in the mail basically saying that I won the contest I entered to win 10 computers for my school...I had to nominate my technology hero and I nominated my web design teacher from college and they chose him to get a hero award and he's been invited to this awards banquet and so have I...and the whole thing is really cool. This organization recycles and repairs donated computers for schools and people who need computers! Apparently, two other teachers from my school nominated people who were also chosen as heros...so our school will be receiving 30 computers!!! I'm just freaking out! That's SO COOL! What's even more remarkable is..when I was reading the letter I got in the mail I noticed it was signed by a familiar name...a name I remembered from an ad that I put in the Strut Program! I called and spoke with her on the phone..and sure enough she was at Strut last Saturday! I told her that I created the program and recognized her ad! I also told her that I was the one who sang the song at the end of the show! She was really nice! I tell you, I love being a part of the community! It feels good!
Oh my gosh! Tina just called me! She sounded GREAT! She worked out and was SO inspired by her new trainer! She said she's been seeing his brochure at Starbucks since 2005 and something told her that she HAD to call him and make an appointment and now she's PSYCHED! So cool! Tina needs her physical outlet and since I've been trying to get pregnant I have been the worst influence. We used to run a few times a week together and take the dogs to the boardwalk all the time. Since I stopped working out..Tina's been bumbed. This is really important for her and I'm SO excited she found someone that she connected with! YEAH! MEANWHILE, TWO MORE DAYS AND WE'LL BE TEN WEEKS PREGNANT! WOOHOO! It's so wild when I bend over my stomach is totally sticking out. It feels sort of numb when I bend over. It's strange. I can't wait until the baby is HERE! This is going to be the LONGEST 40 weeks of my life. :) I can't wait to find out if its a boy or a girl! Websites i've been on have varied from saying...you can find out as early as 15 weeks if the baby is positioned right...then others say 18 weeks or 20 weeks. hmmm.
