2nd Trimester!

Yeah! Today is the first day of the 2nd Trimester! So cool. We've had minimal bleeding since yesterday and things are looking good. Our next ultrasound is November 4th. My mom's friend wanted to meet with us on the 30th..she thinks she can find out the sex early. Last time we were there the baby was crossing his/her legs and it was really hard to to see anything.
Last night I was going over our insurance claims and our insurance is TERRIBLE. It's both hmo and ppo through my school benefits and if you want to use the PPO version, everytime you go to the doctor you have to call the insurance company and tell them you want that to go through as a PPO. My insurance company told me that when my obgyn bills the amount for the visit they have to write on the bill that its going through my PPO version of my insurance, but my obgyn told me everything's electronic, which the insurance companies know, and there isn't a spot to type in what type of insurance is to be billed anywhere. So every single appointment I go to is being billed incorrectly, so my insurance company wont pay it until I call them and tell them the date I went to the appointment and that I want it to be paid through PPO. So, I have a LIST of two months worth of unpaid doctors visits that need to be re-submitted through my insurance company with my verbal consent to be billed PPO. IS that ridiculous! I HATE IT! When i was with Ka.iser I never had to do anything but pay my five bucks when I went to the appointment, but then again...I didn't get special treatment and had to wait like 3 weeks for each appointment.
Insurance companies are closed on the weekends too...so I have to remember to call them Monday in between classes.
