I had my ultrasound appointment yesterday and my doctor said it looks like my placenta is healing and its good news that the blood is brown and not bright red, but she said my amniotic fluid looks a bit low. She didn't measure it, but she decided I better stay in bed for the next two weeks. She was going to order me to do that last time, but i told her I'd be really careful and sit at work as much as possible. Then I passed that big yucky black clot Sunday. I've been doing alittle research about low amniotic fluid and what that could mean and it isn't good at all. It could mean its leaking out from a tear from the placenta called a placenta abruption or the baby's kidneys aren't functioning properly and is not peeing. None of it sounds good, but our doctor says it can change all the time. We've got to stay positive. In the meantime, I'm trying to basically teach from home. I hate missing school. It's easier just to be there and teach. I also have to pay $100 a day for a sub. One of the art teacher's student teacher is subbing for me and may sub for me when I have the baby in April, if all goes as planned. So, its actually pretty cool that she's getting paid, plus able to help me out and do a great job.
I'm very disappointed about PROP 8. That's really upsetting. Why are people okay with discrimination? Have we learned nothing from the past? I heard a student say that Homosexuals and Heterosexuals are DIFFERENT therefore should have DIFFERENT names for marriage. Sounds like segregation, separate but equal. I'm VICTORIOUS over OBAMA winning though. He is going to be SO great for our country.
