Braxton Hicks...
Wow..What a day. My entire stomach was tight from 11-3:30 without a break. I called my doctor and she said its impossible for your uterus to stay tight that. She said it had to be releasing and maybe I just didn't notice. I also told her that I was concerned because I wasn't feeling Carly move while all this tightness was going on. She told me to go home and lay on my left side and drink lots of water and go to the hospital if it continued. So I did that. I took a nap and when I woke up my stomach was tighter than ever. I took a nice hot shower and it seemed to relax it, but Tina was all ready to go to the hospital just to check it out. So, we went and everything checked out fine. My stomach was all relaxed. I'm like, "HEY! It wasn't like this today I swear!!!" It was sort of cool though seeing what to expect as far as the hospital goes. Everyone was so nice. We saw this happy couple from our birth class. They were walking with their new baby. It was so sweet! Our doctor was there too. She had to do a c-section and we ran into her on our way out. She was really tired. Poor thing. We sort of felt like dorks for being there, but both of us agreed that it was better to be safe than sorry. :)

When I was pregnant with Syd.....my stomach did the same thing. My midwife just blew me off so I was never concerned about it. I was induced with Syd.
You do need to drink a TON more water. That seemed to do the trick for me :)
(I HATE water)
