So, our house is AWESOME. The only thing...(not to add to our stress load) the house won't close until April 14th and I'm not allowed to be on maternity leave until the house closes. For some reason I keep thinking Carly's going to come early...so I was like WHAT!!! Maybe its just that I want her to come a little earlier. I've heard so many horror stories of the last week...when something goes wrong and the baby could have lived just fine outside the womb... I know I should not think that way. That's just plain ridiculous. I have SO much faith in my doctor I really do. So, I was thinking..if I DO have Carly early..I could just get a sub and not say that I actually had her until after we get the house, so they won't say I'm on maternity leave. Maybe that would work? I could also call my HR person and tell them not to say anything about maternity to the loan people when they call to verify my employment. We don't really get a maternity leave anyway, which I was surprised about. We only get 9 six days. Anything over that we have to pay our sub out of our pocket. So, it can become quite costly and make you want to just power out your time at work and go back as soon as you can, which would be 3 and a half weeks? We learned you shouldn't even introduce a bottle until after 3 and a half weeks if you plan to continue to breast feeding because the baby will get nipple confusion. I'm SO dedicated! I PLAN TO BE THE BREAST FEEDING MACHINE! We're going to get that double decker electric breast pump that sucks out the milk from both breasts in a matter of 10-15 minutes! LOVE THAT!
Oh! We did that swab test today for that bacteria. I've been spoiled not having to de-robe during appointments. But, it was cool because our doctor said that Carly was low!!! How awesome is that! Tina did think my belly has been looking lower lately. I still can't breathe very well though and every where I read I hear how women who felt like they couldn't breathe very well, can now breathe much easier when the baby drops. Maybe I just don't realize that I am more comfortable. haha! The baby is growing like a weed, so I guess you might have a few good days before she packs on another pound and then you can't breathe again. :)
Tina's ankle is feeling better. She's showing her second house today. She's such a hard worker. I can't wait until she starts closing these deals and getting those checks in mail. It will really make her feel good. She deserves it.
We did the house inspection and we'll definitely need to buy a new roof by the end of the summer because there are termites in it. The house passed the termite inspection...I guess other than that. We also need to service the heater. Its full of dust and yuck. The fireplace works! We need to hire a plumber to do a few things, change some valves and stuff. And, we'll need to hire our gardener to put in some drains in the back. The place is beautiful and we have so many ideas to make it even better! It's really exciting. Just six months ago my best friend Wendy told me that she wanted to come visit us when Carly was born and she didn't care if she had to stay in a hotel, because we had no idea where we'd be living. :) So sweet. We've come a long way in six months.
Here's some pictures of the dogs checking out the new house! They like the yard and the front gate! We didn't let them inside though and they weren't too happy about that.

glad to hear the appointment went well. You will worry about everything imaginable up and until that baby is placed in your arms and then you worry every day after. :) It's just our jobs as mothers to worry.
None of my kids got nipple confusion. I think some babies can, but most that I know haven't.
You MUST and please believe me when I tell you this. MUST get a handsfree pumping bra. I didn't even know they existed until this last set and OH how I wished I had one before.
They have hands free pumps too that strap to your hip. I would TOTALLY get one of those if I could do it over. Then I could strap it on, strap them up and clean, walk around, change diapers, blog and all the while pumping. :)
