Loan Documents...

I just got through signing all the loan documents. Hopefully, we can get this deal through asap. I can't even believe they'll disqualify us from getting the loan if I go on maternity leave. The house is expected to close around the EXACT same time Carly is due. Could we push it any closer? I'm thinking I'll just call in sick and not tell anyone that I had Carly until the house closes. What a lame rule. Sounds like discrimination to me.
Tina's been showing properties today and having to climb many stairs. Poor thing. This sprain has been such an inconvenience. Then we watched Op.rah tonight and there was this extraordinary woman who delivered her beautiful little girl and she developed this bacteria that basically attacked her flesh and she had 36 operations in two months to remove her uterus, ovaries, part of her colon, and amputate her arms and legs. What was so incredible about this woman was her positive attitude. She accepted what happened to her and focused on learning to walk with prosthetic legs and use her prosthetic arms, so she could get back home to her family as soon as possible. Another thing that was amazing was her finance married her as soon as she got out of the hospital. She said she told her finance that she understood if he didn't want to marry her anymore, since she was different than the woman he proposed to, but he told her that she was the same woman on the inside. They were both amazing people. Tina and I sat there with the biggest tears in our eyes. I have to say I felt a little foolish complaining about being such a whale. :)
